Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 16, 2014 7:38 pm Hi all, Also posted this in the landscaping forum, but thought it might be more applicable to this forum as well. My builder has quoted $6450 to prep yard and lay turf as part of the building process. Quite a bit of cash when I would rather spend the money on the house itself. I am thinking of just spreading some grass seed and watering it (or wait until wet season when we get lots of rain in the tropics). I have a friend who could even provide me with some runners. Is it worth DYI turfing/grassing after handover to keep costs down a bit?? Cheers, Dale Dale - Building Newbie Proserpine, QLD Can you give advice on how to get missing certificates needed for a form 21? Our bank requires us to provide one but we are missing 4 building certificates from our first… 3 71776 yes it does, you've just not understood it. theres a difference. 4 5314 Your house should come in "as new" condition.
