Yeah so apparently that's one of the issues to be fixed once the brickie returns to site. The SS did say that it required 2 rows of bricks above the sliding doors but not sure what exactly they're going to do with the rest. Do the eaves sit on top of the bricks?
The brickie has to come back to fix up the splash back window as it was installed too low, so they've since adjusted the height but there's a 30mm gap now. The window sill have to be moved up to reduce the gap.

No the eves (lining) don't sit on the bricks they get attached to battons underneath.
To me it does look like 2 are needed above the door to help lock them in but elsewhere there is sufficient bricks above the door to not need anymore. Once lined you wouldn't be any the wiser.
