Re: What colour is your Home Cinema room? 4Oct 14, 2014 10:43 am I used a red colour in my HT room, with Dulux suede effects paint on the ceiling charcoal sort of colour that gave it a night sky sort of look. You really need a dark ceiling if you have a large screen (TV or projector is the same), as the light from the screen will reflect off a light colour ceiling too much. Thanks, I was quite proud of what I had done by myself. Did the framing, gyprocking, and most of the electrical (my sparky did the final hook up to the circuit breakers), and painting myself, and had never done framing, let alone gyprocking before.
