Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 41Jul 14, 2015 3:42 pm I think last night went well. I asked the council pretty much what has to be done and timeline for it? I spoke to the director of planning after the meeting as not much was said during question time. He confirmed that they are waiting on paperwork from the developer and then he can issue compliance (about 1-2 weeks) then it goes to title. So it all depends how long it takes the developer to get the correct paperwork to the council. Janine was going to chase it all up today but I am still waiting to hear. Will let you know once I do. Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 42Jul 14, 2015 6:27 pm Just got in touch with Janine. She says that all a paperwork has been lodged. I will wait and contact council tomorrow afternoon to confirm. Fingers crossed everyone......... Will let you know more once I know... Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 43Jul 14, 2015 7:20 pm I think we will have better luck finding out from you than janine! Thanks for keeping us in the loop. I emailed janine today requesting to be added to the distribution list for any sarah land updates. She replied back redirecting me to this forum..... Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 44Jul 15, 2015 7:54 pm Hi all. I have spoken to Janine and council again today. The paperwork will be sorted out shortly (by 24th July at the latest). I have also been told that all conveyancers will receive a letter in the next day or two outlining what is left to do and the timeline. This will be from the land owners. According to my calculations titling should occur no later than 24 August if all goes according to what I have been told. For the first time in a long time I am actual fairly confident that this will take place. It could be earlier depending on how long it takes council to issue compliance and how long it takes for the titles office to issue the titles. I will be in touch if there are any more updates. Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 47Jul 15, 2015 10:13 pm Thanks Suzier..! Ta that is a good idea Rachelng.. I am with you in that! Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 49Jul 20, 2015 12:19 pm Hi Suzie, Just to confirm, I received the letter too stating expected settlement to be end of Aug, in line with your wisdom. Thanks for your efforts. I do agree with other members that you deserve a treat! Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 50Jul 20, 2015 7:49 pm Council are looking at the final paperwork today and hope to be in a position to do compliance by Wednesday. Not sure if that means have compliance completed by then or start the process. Will let you know more when u find out. Ps keep an eye out on the Dandenong journal as I believe there is an article in it about our issue. They guy was at the council meeting and listened to our conversations. I can't stop him writing the article but he has assured me that no personal info or details will be in it. Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 56Jul 22, 2015 7:35 pm Just heard that compliance should be issued by end of the week. This means that the councils signs off on everything. It then goes the the Titles office and they need approx 15 days for this to be finalised. Then Settlement. Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 58Jul 22, 2015 8:00 pm Just spoke to conveyencer lawyer that we knows. She says it should be done at the latest by Sep 19th - due it all having to be business days. That is worst case scenario.... As long as council sign off this week and it gets registered with titles office straight away. Cross fingers it is earlier. I will keep putting pressure on everyone involved. Re: Sarah Lands Estate - Keysborough 60Jul 23, 2015 5:25 pm The council issued Compliance today. So it is all now back with the developers lawyers who have to submit it to the titles office to get it all finalised.... Then settlement.... We are on the home stretch..... |
