Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 09, 2014 4:31 pm Hi all, My land is looking to be titled some times next month. As I want to apply for the dispensation with my council, I need to provide them a copy of the certificate of title. So to avoid delaying my site start, I am keen to get the certificate of title asap. Can anyone advise how long does it take to get the certificate of title after settlement date? Is there any other way to apply for dispensation without certificate of title? (my local council is Greater Dandenong in Victoria) Many thanks Re: How long to get a certificate of title? 2Oct 09, 2014 5:40 pm Contact Landgate www.landgate.wa.gov.au Re: How long to get a certificate of title? 3Oct 09, 2014 6:39 pm It took about 2/3 months from memory to receive ours, I ended up downloading it through work as I thought I wasn't getting a copy in the end!
