Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 07, 2014 10:58 am Are they good? how are there prices? this is the frist home iam building. can we negotiate on prices? thanks Re: Any one building with Kurmond Homes? 2Oct 08, 2014 9:54 pm Mate, You probably need to do a fair bit of homework finding out comparative price information. For instance if you are thinking of say 200 square metres home then visit a few display homes and look at their standard 200M2 house prices and see if the inclusions are similar... plus if they are pricing complete or from the floor up... makes a lot of difference. Good luck and hope someone has a build happening with this builder. Could also ask for recent completed homes by that builder and see how their experience was, cheers, Leonardo_23 Re: Any one building with Kurmond Homes? 3Oct 08, 2014 9:57 pm Hi Loadingerror, I pressed search (Kurmond homes) and there were at least a dozen threads. Suggest you try this too, go, go, go Leonardo_23 Re: Any one building with Kurmond Homes? 4Oct 17, 2017 1:56 pm LoadingError Are they good? how are there prices? this is the frist home iam building. can we negotiate on prices? thanks LoadingError Negotiation - hmm.. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT Kurmond Home will take realistically 18-22 months to build the new double story home!!!! They are good with Pricing and all inclusion... but if you will upgrade and add extra bits n pieces you will end up with competitive market price.....Remember you will have to add site cost and other payments - it will end up additional approx $60,000 - $130,000 on top of the provided base price of the house. On avg, you will end up (including upgrade) with approx $1500/sq meter - depend on your land size, type, selection, etc My suggestion to those people who wants to build home in less than that time then go and find a different builder. I had an old shower unit that broke on me and when I took it off, there were only 2 water pipes, instead of the normal 2 water pipes and a shower head pipe.
