I am confused because I see a lot of people have their built in BBQ sit on top of kitchen cabinets, how is that going to comply with the 450mm clearance on all sides? There are all sorts of requirements because of the heat given off, particularly for BBQ's and hot plate gas burners. Glass backs for instance meed to be the correct type of glass or have something fire-resistant behind them and gas burners need 600mm from overhead cupboards I think... and I think that distance should be from the jets and not the bench top... to be safe Leonardo_23 Hello!
