Looks like you'd have to walk through half the house with a wet load of washing in order to take it outside to hang it up for drying. Or have you a door to the outside from the laundry?
At any rate having the laundry amongst the bedroom is a tad unusual and I'd imagine could restrict you from popping a load in at night for fear of waking someone up? Just a thought... I disagree with your other comment about laundry position, many single story houses have laundries in the bedroom area and this design is better than many as the wall on which the washing machine would go is not directly against a bedroom wall, therefore minimal noise disruption.
