Thanks for the info re the lights too really appreciate it - we'll have soooo much shopping to do when we go to Perth next it is unreal! Thanks MalSannie, no probs at all! Yes I know what that feels like!! I have such a long list of things to buy for the house, if only the budget would let me do it all at once!! Lol Kelsey78 Beautiful pics Aunty Meelz of the estate of of your little nephew!! Good luck for today! I hope you are holding those keys very soon! Do you have a move in date planned yet? Thanks Kelsey. Yep! We have the week off work so if we get keys were gonna start moving today!! We have to hand the keys back for our rental on Friday so want to get it done and get the rental spick and span. The only thing left to do at the new place is the exterior which we planned to do once we move in anyway to get a feel for what we want first. Otherwise things like sheers, extra lighting and new furniture will be done along the way anyway! So on Monday we got keys!! Yay This week has been totally hectic! We have finally moved everything into the new house but I still have sooo much unpacking to do and because we were renting and we had to hand keys back on Friday we have been rushing around like headless chooks moving everything and getting the old place clean so we've barely had a chance to enjoy it just yet! We also realized that today is our 5 year anniversary so we've decided to go out for a nice dinner, I definitely think we deserve it lol Here's some pics Keys!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And then we put together 2 flat pack dressers to go in the robe (what a mission!) but I'm so pleased with how well they fit and how it looks!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We had fun with moving the animals! The dog adapted pretty easy but our lil cat was such a sook and hid under the bed for 2 days!! They're all settled now, only problem is our fence won't be going up for 2 weeks so we've had a lot of fun containing the dog lol We had a slight drama when we moved in, the power wasn't working to half the house which also happened to be the half with the HWS so we couldn't use our beautiful new showers for the first night. HGWA sorted it pretty quick though and the electrician came and fixed it the next day. Another drama we've had is we still don't have tv connected. The Telstra guy came to set it up and said Telstra stuffed up and hadn't done the wiring yet. He said they'll get it sorted within a couple of weeks though. Got plenty of unpacking to do. Shed will be going in next week and we will start the landscaping as soon a fences are in!!! So I have basically finished unpacking, just a few extra bits & bobs to go. We have installed my shoe shelving in the WIR (priority of course) and I set up some makeup organizers in the robe to keep it from ending up all over my ensuite vanity lol so this is the finished product: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Btw they're pink only because Bunnings ran out of white and I was being impatient haha but I kind of like it. We just need one more shelf for all my potential new shoes We've also mounted a few TVs and installed some shelving and pictures! We still have loads to do but this is were we are at so far: - fencing to go in Monday next wk - shed to go in week after that - sort out garden layout & install retic - install lawn - seal pavers (the OH had started and then came the rain...) - F#%ing Telstra need to come connect our TV (third time they would have been out - Smart Community my a##) - install a clothesline - collect our new lounge & dining set - DECORATE!!
