Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 23, 2014 9:15 pm Hi, Just chasing opinions from people regarding infill above sliding doors. Our builder does do a brick infill above doors/windows, however 3 out of 4 of our sliding doors have ended up with a very large gap above them, which they have covered with aluminium infill, i don't believe this is acceptable, but builder is not keen on repairing. It would be difficult to win in VCAT by the way but a slim chance, particularly if the elevations show no infill and no gap. Continual pressure might also work... but the mortar colour match might not be good. Building, who would do such a thing? Good luck, Leonardo_23 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5236 Flashings over doorways and windows our carpenter has installed flashings that is buckled and short of the window frames and door frames is this right Is there a… 0 10923 we have a standard size and often we have a lot of variety to choose 0 3575 |
