All parts arrived in great condition. Only small gripe was assembly was a bit harder than should have been with a couple misaligned screw holes on the seats. But other than that very happy with the table and chairs. Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1245Sep 25, 2015 7:03 am Tribe7 Ohhhhhh wow looks fab bees, love the look of the table base through the glass. How good does it look with your new sofas, very stylish indeed Thanks tribe really happy with it worth waiting for I recon. Just have to find a L shape couch for kids retreat and we are about done with furniture. I will hang some art this weekend which should Brighten the place up a little too. Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1246Sep 25, 2015 8:06 am Agree totally, it's a beautiful setting, suits it's surrounds really well. L lounges are hard, do you want it to be up on legs or is it away from your dining family area? L lounges are hard, do you want it to be up on legs or is it away from your dining family area? It's in the other part of the house so don't need to have the legs look. I've actually been keeping eye on second hand because I really can't see the kids using it for a other few years they just hang with us at the moment. We have a old futon thing there at the moment and I hate the look of it just lets the space down. Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1248Sep 25, 2015 4:58 pm Hiya Bees! wow more than 10 weeks has gone by and not one notification from H1. Oh well I've had fun catching up! Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1251Oct 28, 2015 4:39 pm Sadly not a lot to update... But near maps updated their photos and I finally got to see my driveway from the air! Also took couple quick pics of finished driveway as hadn't updated any for you guys. As you can see things moving slowly grass is slowly spreading and thickening and we are slowly getting some gardens done. Looks like batmans house Wow how good does your lawn look, I'm so jealous. I'm in lawn land at the moment and it's so expensive!! Your wee little miss bee wouldn't be so little anymore, hope she is enjoying her beautiful home too. Your big girl looks like she is loving your driveway. (Ultimate bike driveway) might be time for another bee, so much space for them to run Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1253Oct 29, 2015 7:30 am Tribe7 It's looks great bee's, love your roof line in the aerial shot. (Ultimate bike driveway) might be time for another bee, so much space for them to run Thanks Tribe yes our roofline is one of our favourite things. I've been looking into https://m.facebook.com/roofspacerenovators to see how much to turn that 4x4 tower into a habitual room. From my research I should be able to easily turn it into a study/retreat/media room just not a bedroom. Just not sure on what cost would end up but would give us a bit more space and add something extra to the house. The grass has come along amazingly but it's still got a fair way to go I'm hoping most will be covered by March next year so I can concentrate on bringing the quality up. I still do regret not turfing because id have a fully established healthy lawn by now however would be somewhere in the vacuity of $5,000 poorer... I love my driveways can't wait to extend all the way to the shed to make it 500m2 in total size. The girls probably don't realise how lucky they are having sure a big safe area to scoot and ride bikes around I made the concrete path around the house link up with the driveway so they can do laps of the house as well. I was saying to MrsBee I wish my parents had that when I was a kid! Yes the youngest is 8months now time is flying! Must be time to send MrsBee back to work to get that pool in! Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1254Oct 29, 2015 2:30 pm You have an absolutely beautiful home. That's very cool, I clicked the link and wow they are doing amazing things with roof spaces. You could make it a dedicated theatre room?? You should be proud of your lawn it's looking great. Once the patches fill in the quality will pick up (some chook poop will help too) I've done some price digging for quotes from turf farms and I got one for $3650 plus delivery I don't think I need sir Walter that badly!! Your girls are super lucky, mine would love a hoon track like that. Once they are bigger you will never get them inside. Wow that's a lot of concrete . Gosh that time has flown by, 8 months already. I hope mrs bee can stay home for a bit longer, it's nice to be with the babies. (I could of buried mine today but that's another story) Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1257Nov 01, 2015 6:22 pm Wow looking amazing ! I know people that have bought turf and cut into small squares and planted spread out ? Then it has just grown out and filled in. Grew fairly quick and looked great so another option Re: Our semi acreage 'Forever House' Build - Final Pics pg. 1258Nov 01, 2015 11:34 pm Camowen77 Wow looking amazing ! I know people that have bought turf and cut into small squares and planted spread out ? Then it has just grown out and filled in. Grew fairly quick and looked great so another option I've got about 90% coverage now from seed. There is a few areas that didn't take due to compacted ground so I'm thinking of just buying turf and using it on these spots Then contintue letting it grow as much as I can this spring and summer just to get the coverage. At the moment there is a lot of weed through it as it hasn't formed a really tight coverage to keep the weeds out so next winter and spring I will spend a lot of effort on weed control so hopefully by next summer I have a really good lawn so see how we go. I know people that have bought turf and cut into small squares and planted spread out ? Then it has just grown out and filled in. Grew fairly quick and looked great so another option +1 to that. When I get around to it, I'll be doing much the same at my place. At the moment having to spend my landscaping money on putting up the remainder of the dividing fence to keep the neighbours 'happy'. Anyway, going to get the turf pieces and put them on properly prepared sections of the ground so that they get the best chance to grow and spread. The front yard is 36m wide, and there's only 90m to the front fence, so there's no way I was going to fully turf all of that in one go. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld.
