Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 22, 2008 8:04 pm Hi All, we are planning to build a house - very early reconnaisance stage. Beacuse we have a sloping block, the companies that I've talked to have asked for a "contour sruvey". Can anyone recommend a contour surveyor (?) in Brisbane who is good and charge reasonable rates? Thanks. Re: Contour Survey - Newbie question 2Nov 22, 2008 8:19 pm Hi Again,
I can't recommended anyone (I'm in Syd) but do think it's a good idea so you know exactly what slope you are dealing with. *Hopefully* they will be able to give you better estimates re site costs etc. Bel Still not in. Don't ask!? Homeone is starting to be an addictive website for me... Yes I think you're right. The contour maps seems to be an important starting point. Surveyor recommendations anyone?
