How did you go with my neighbour, he does like a chat. His place is powering on, we are struggling to keep up lol. Hope you find a brickie soon. His place is powering on, we are struggling to keep up lol. Hope you find a brickie soon. Nah, no luck with him... he said he's flat to the floorboard all the way up to Christmas. I have now found someone who can start on it next Wednesday, however his quote is just a tad under $4000 more than my previous brickie.... I'd have to pay more than that in rent if I had to wait for the original brickie to come back to do it though. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Look forward to seeing the pics. Anyway police are looking into it. In the mean time we have had our wall wrap put on, the windows and doors have been put in (the ones that weren't stolen that is) and we put in some wall insulation ourselves to the western facing sides of the house, should help with the temp and AC efficiency and was pretty easy and cheap to do as well. Plasterers have been in to start the internal walls which has really changed the look of the place. And we now have a front door . So much going on, bricks should be arriving soon I hope, can't wait. Sorry to hear about the other door 'growing legs' though. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Blog : http://bandlnewhomebuild.blogspot.com H1 thread : viewtopic.php?f=38&t=68283 . Re: Coral homes daydream 30 at Logan Village 26Oct 13, 2014 2:04 pm Wow, those windows are MASSIVE at the front! If that's the standard facade it has me a little worried. I don't know how we'll arrange the furniture in the two little boys' rooms if that's what we're getting. It does look good from the outside though. Anyway we didn't argue because we ended up with windows that are 2100 high x 1800 wide, think they look great. You could probably get them the original size if you asked, we didn't bother. I like the size of that space Loving it all - you must be so happy Yep, that is standing at the edge of the kitchen looking back through the dining and family to the alfresco, there will be an island bench in the foreground. Space is great, very happy with it. They are Boral Alpine double height and we went with an off white mortar thought it would look better than the standard mortar and now that it's done, it was worth the $400 for the change. Plaster has been sanded ready for painting. All moving along still. Amazing how quick it comes together once they start rolling. My Noosa 23 Build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72782 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13774 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4350 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74710 |
