Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 09, 2014 10:22 pm Hi all, we are planning to build a house and kennels all at the same time for our business of dog boarding to continue to grow. We are allowed to build facilities to house 20 adult dogs and 20 dogs under six months so quite a bit of building. We are not concerned with high end finishes in the house as we can add those later, we simply want the nice structure at the moment like high ceilings if possible and a scullery etc etc. The main thing for us is getting on the land at a good price with a kennel block to start the business off. Does anyone have any thoughts on this or recommendations on a builder that would be happy to approach this? Any tips or pointers of things that we may not have thought of would be very appreciated. We are building in the Mandurah area on a very large block. Many thanks Paul Re: Building Kennels and house at the same time 2Sep 10, 2014 12:44 am I think you may need to go custom for something like this. Or get house done separately to kennels. I don't believe the project/large scale builders would be too keen on kennels- being a commercial building it is a whole different ball game with quite different reqs. I could be wrong, but I think you'll need draftee/designer/archi then go to custom builders for the kennel portion at least. Small footprint in Eliza Ponds, Spearwood WA Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not? Thanks ❤️ 0 8950 9 24816 1 13128 |
