Yay - although obviously he said "I can't promise" etc etc. (Roof is going on this week). So, going on that timeline, we should be looking at early November for handover. More realistic timing may be late November/December. Given the usual pressure on these things around Christmas, and the uncertain nature of the actual handover time, when and how do we look at booking trades? We need to have the whole house painted, tiled (other than wet areas) boundary and pool fencing, electrical and landscaping (which can probably wait if necessary). Should I be getting quotes now, and trying to book these guys in? How flexible do they tend to be at the other end?
