Our build will kick off in jan/feb. So far so good! No complaints. We have found them good but expensive but that's the cost of a good builder I hope. We did our contract and colours last year but due to delays in land registration have made lots of changes and that has cost us. Our last variations related to drop edge beam which was unavoidable and not know till we could finally do the contours. Off to council next week so fingers crossed it goes through Camden Council quickly, seen them twice during the process as odd shaped block with Electrical box on it. We are building the Orion but it's so customised from the layout and the facade so if I am right will be an amazing house. Love to keep up with your progress, what design and facade are you going? We are building the baywood at bingara gorge. We are still waiting for land registration!! Re: Building with Adenbrook Homes {sydney} 16Mar 13, 2015 10:22 am How exciting!! We are currently held up with council approval. Which house are you building?? Re: Building with Adenbrook Homes {sydney} 17Mar 13, 2015 10:31 am Ah not far away now if you are just waiting for council approval We are building the Saxon but we have made quite a fair few changes so it looks quite different to the original plan. The Hadley is quite a lovely house, been to the display a few times, I am sure your house will look amazing! Re: Building with Adenbrook Homes {sydney} 18Mar 15, 2015 9:47 pm I don't know about that... It was 8!weeks till we heard back from them & then We had to make changes and resubmit... It's been 5 weeks and counting... Saxon looks nice! I am a fan of their single storey homes, but they won't fit our block. Have you seen the new Saxton display home @ leppington? Re: Building with Adenbrook Homes {sydney} 19Mar 16, 2015 6:55 am Oh wow that is a long time! Hopefully you hear some great news this week. Which council are you with? We have been held up quite a bit by our estate, council, private certifier and now the building insurance but hopefully that will all end soon and then we can begin. Yeah I am quite a fan of all their houses but the Saxon was the only single that we liked that would fit on our tiny block. Doubles are just too expensive for our budget. Yeah I have been to the display a few times now as my family like to see what our house will look like. Going there gets me so excited for our house to be completed! Building with Adenbrook Homes {sydney} 20Mar 18, 2015 7:24 pm It's so exciting being able to walk through the house. It's frustrating when there are delays and it's beyond your control. What's the building insurance hold up? We are with Auburn council and hopefully the approvals are just around the corner. No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6127 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74219 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105129 |
