Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 30, 2014 5:50 pm So we have signed our contract on Thursday 28/08. It all went well except some drawings like sliding door to Alfresco was 3 panels on original plan and on contract drawings it was showing only 2 panels so they are redrawing it to 3, kids retreat sliding door also same thing happened but i have left it as per contract drawing and accepted a credit back for ×1 panel missing, i moved this sliding door from my alfresco area too. We have also signed to say the contract is subject to finance and crossed out the word NOT subject to finance just in case you never know!.Hopefully site start will be early October, its now up to Logan city council. Oh by the way we have already received our first quarter logan city council rates $456.00 i think!. 23 trees on our land have all been stump grinded, thanks to hubby who organised that. I will post the final house plan as per contract drawings soon. Suggest you get a very detailed soil report and comply with all recommendations to avoid future heave. also write to structural engineer about these concerns, so they will design the footing correctly. Good luck.
