How many times before you think, that's enough now. Also, how patient are builders when it comes to modifying designs? Most project builders allow unlimited revisions during the sales process. It's only when it goes in for proper drafting that they start to get picky with changes, even then you should get a few revisions before they try to charge. Sometimes you just have to have things drawn up to scale so you can see what it looks like, and what affect it will have on any other rooms. I personally went back and fourth probably 6 or 7 times total - albeit a couple of those times were screw ups by the builder. IE made the requested change, but modified something else. I'm just going through the first copy of the working drawings and have flagged a few minor things. You are spot on though - considering the amount your spending, better to get it right now then find an issue once you move in that can't be changed. IE in the first place i built you can see straight through the front door into the ensuite shower if the doors open... Lesson i learn't from that was if you make a layout change (i moved the ensuite around), double and triple check the basics.
