Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 25, 2014 10:15 am Hi,
my husband and I have our colour appoint in 3 weeks. It's taken us about 4 weeks just to agree on a brick colour. I originally wanted a red brick home, but the bricks offered to us in the standard range don't have the red that I'm after. We can choose from Austral Homestead, Indulgence, Access & Settlers ranges. We finally have agreed on Truffle. We don't want to upgrade our bricks because we've decided once the covenants lift in the estate, we'll just clad the whole facade so we have a weatherboard look house. With the brown bricks I wanted to go a light coloured roof. We can choose tiles from Bristle Roofing (standard ranges: Heritage, Traditional & Designer) or Colorbond. However, my husband is not too keen on the light coloured roof. Our facade will look something like this, however it won't have any render, just brick. I then stumbled across this house in Eynesbury which I really love the exterior colours of. Even though the roof is a dark colour, the light garage door, gable, posts etc really life the whole facade. We are going to be having the cladding on the gable, however, ours won't continue down the front of the house. For all those colour and building experts out there, can you tell me what colours are used in this facade? I'm talking every aspect of it: roof, bricks, garage door, fascia, gutters, gable etc. Thanks heaps! Re: Help with facade colours... 2Aug 25, 2014 11:03 am We have Grand Piano - sort of white like. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3277 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size.
