Rude builders and yobbo's...you know you can hire cameras on a pole for your build.
I would love to be able to check the house on my phone 24-7.
For the time being you are now my eyes and ears....

Re: homestart the accolade dawesville - roof timbers started 62Feb 04, 2015 6:26 pm Bit of an update..... Whiteset is in progress and lockup not is too far away. Still not had chance to visit the house..really want to have a look and get some pics before they lock me out. Should have doors this week and that will be lockup. The fascias and gutters will be painted black and I am thinking of finding a paint the same colour as the rendering. Not much to say so I will let the pictures do the talking. I'm away working for the next few weeks so hope to see some kitchen units and a bit of tiling When I get back. Re: homestart the accolade dawesville - kitchen bathroom pic 74Mar 22, 2015 6:48 pm Met the plumbers this morning (Sunday) they kindly let me in to take some pics of the progress, they were fitting taps and toilets. All tiling is complete, just requires a good clean - most pics of tiles have come out darker that how they actually look - well maybe not the kitchen, they are gloss. Re: homestart the accolade dawesville - kitchen bathroom pic 75Mar 24, 2015 4:15 pm So glad you are powering along in the build I love love your bathrooms So glad to see someone else go all dark tiles and light vanities I certainly hope you don't have the same electrician as we do as he is still MIA and the CLO told me yesterday electrical finals have been completed, so I am assuming he has probably been booked in to finish them just hasn't bothered turning up Not much to do at all and it is surprisingly quick to get done to (don't forget to add, shower screens, mirrors, garage door & plumbing fitout if not already done! Sorry to add more to your list but they don't actually take long and I hate adding things after I start crossing things off) OOh I hope they are preparing my hamper also alrightdave Things left to do ... Did receive a letter saying saying we would soon be hearing from the supervisor for pci, did you get one? All I can do now is sit back and wait...but that's ok.. Lucky Lucky, you don't have to deal with the same sparkie Nope, no letter Hmmm.... I have to ask all the time for dates and schedules. Interesting that you got a letter Fingers crossed you don't have too long to wait now My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: homestart the accolade dawesville - waiting for pci date 78Apr 04, 2015 8:49 pm Had a little looksy today and was pleasantly surprised, the front render has been painted, blinds fitted, kitchen done, paving done, garage door fitted and the vinyl has been laid. The site supervisor thinks pci should be in the next few weeks which I cool. All that I could see left to do is the fitting of door handles, second coat to gutters, ridge tiles to garage roof and the dormers need painting. Starting to get a bit real now...
