We love the plan that we have designed and can't thank our building consultant Dan Williams enough, was fantastic from start to finish! http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/IMG_0556.jpg Here is our floorplan http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/floorplan.jpg And front elevation http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/front_elevation.jpg Cross section http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/cross-section.jpg Internal Layouts http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/internal-layout1.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/internal-layout2.jpg http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/internal-layout3.jpg Re: Gemmill Galliano/Cointreau build in Woburn Park, The Vin 2Aug 23, 2014 4:51 pm Welcome to the forum dsellars! We are building with Gemmill too love the Galliano and Cointreau designs, we are building "The Mustang" with some 'tweaks' looking forward to following your build. perhaps the site works done recently were done by the developer? Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Gemmill Galliano/Cointreau build in Woburn Park, The Vin 3Aug 23, 2014 7:15 pm Thanks Speedwaychick68. Had a call finally from our Construction client liaison yesterday, she did indeed confirm that earthworks had commenced and were due to be completed yesterday. So thankfully the work going on wasn't the developer. However, after settlement I am not sure the developer can perform work on your block anyway? Oh well, that doesnt matter now anyway since it's confirm that siteworks have started. Gemmill also advised that the pad should be down by Friday 29th! Exciting times Re: Gemmill Galliano/Cointreau build in Woburn Park, The Vin 4Aug 23, 2014 10:13 pm Very exciting!! I have found so far their communication has been really good, hopefully you will have the same experience as me to date Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Gemmill Galliano/Cointreau in Woburn Park, The Vines 5Aug 27, 2014 9:30 pm So we had some more movement today with the progress of our build! The earthworks and siteworks are now completed and ready for the slab to be put down tomorrow or Friday. However I am sure as soon as the walls go up that will change! Re: Gemmill Galliano build - The Vines - SLAB DOWN 28/08 8Aug 28, 2014 6:54 pm Visited the block again today and the Slab is down! Not sure why the bricks take so long to be delivered but good to have some dates and progress! Re: Gemmill Galliano build, The Vines - Window Frames 12/09/ 16Sep 16, 2014 8:38 pm Not long now till you get to see it taking shape My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Gemmill Galliano build, The Vines - Window Frames 12/09/ 17Sep 16, 2014 9:20 pm I wonder if your getting our brickies once they have finished our house? Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 Re: Gemmill Galliano build, The Vines - Window Frames 12/09/ 18Sep 16, 2014 9:23 pm Maybe, would sound about right however Gemmill told us they have separate brickies for North and South of the river. Hopefully they do a good job, seems to be looking good on yours Speedwaychick68. Have you seen any more progress since yesterday or do you not visit the block that often? I visit every day but its only 5 minutes away Re: Gemmill Galliano build, The Vines - Window Frames 12/09/ 19Sep 17, 2014 11:32 pm Thought i'd best post up a picture of the window frames delivered! Still nothing else new to report. At this stage bricks delivered next week and brickies commencing the week after. Plus also get to have my wisdom teeth out next week too so that should be fun! http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q548/dsellars1983/House%20Build%20-%20Galliano/IMG_7487.jpg Re: Gemmill Galliano build, The Vines - Window Frames 12/09/ 20Sep 17, 2014 11:51 pm dsellars1983 Maybe, would sound about right however Gemmill told us they have separate brickies for North and South of the river. I visit every day but its only 5 minutes away Oh I do remember hearing about the North /South thing maybe that means yours will start soon! They are doing a fantastic job! really enjoying watching it take shape. Generally we go out on the weekends and I sneak out for a bit on Wednesdays usually, we are 25 minutes away so cant go and visit everyday as much as I would like to! Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66620 That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17880 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17609 |
