Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 21, 2014 7:27 am Hi, My wife and I have just received the contour plans for our block and I was wondering if someone with more knowledge then me would have an idea of what kind of site costs to expect. Cheers https://snt145.mail.live.com/mail/ViewOfficePreview.aspx?messageid=mg3_BxKLAo5BGeygAcxO2XQg2&folderid=flinbox&attindex=0&cp=-1&attdepth=0&n=81503712 Re: Contour Plans and Site costs 3Aug 21, 2014 9:13 am Knowing where you are is a big start ( put your location in your sig. ). Posting the pdf or image here in your post rather than redirecting us via another link is easier for us to see as well. We're building in Luddenham, NSW. Thanks Re: Contour Plans and Site costs 5Aug 21, 2014 3:04 pm Looks like a 1.4m slope to me but it is at least 1m. Most builders allow for 0.5m and each charge differently for any more fall than that. This may need more piering too so will fall outside of your allowance. If you build with someone who gives a fixed price then there will be no surprises. Our builder told us to meet him on site when the piering was being done. Being building virgins we didn't realise we were there to watch the concrete going in and then signing that we are ok to pay the extra cost. Beware the builder that won't provide you with figures, even if they are only ballpark ones. Land at Chermside At tender stage Give "Holt Surveying" they are based around Eight Mile Plains 3 8748 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13107 Is anyone building with Mojo and have a recent site cost tender 0 15954 |
