Im curious to find out the average spend on electrical in a new home:
To detail our build:
Building a 29square home we have the below
30 x downlights LED
9 x Other style lights all LED (pendant for entry, under cupboard LED Strips, security spots etc)
7 x single power points
30 x double power points
3 x tv points
1 x fan
6 x fan with lights
2 x heat/ light/ fans for the bathroom
2 x end of bench power points
We also have a seperate circuit for a shed and a AUX switch for a generator if needed.
Anyway total for all of the above lights, switches and all installation has come to roughly $13k.... Which is a little different to what our sales consultant originally gave us as an allowance ($4000). The funny thing is we didnt even go with our builder for the bulk of this as we were warned of their extravagant prices.
Does this sound right to people... just curious to know what other people end up spending and if they are shocked...
