I too cannot quite make out what they are planning in that snail shape portion, maybe a BBQ or two that us Eliza Ponders can wander down and use (since we don't appear to have any!). I think this little green strip between eliza and ocean will be a really nice feature. For some reason I do have a feeling that I was told at some stage there would be one. The developer also told me that the earthworks currently there are pretty much the contours in the plan so hopefully some planting starts to take shape soon, although not sure that would be the best time to plant? Going into summer? Unless they have lots of irrigation water? I agree with Tristanium that it looks pretty good. Way more plants than I thought and hopefully they take to the area and grow lots!! Re: Anyone building in the Ocean Road Estate, Coogee? 86Dec 11, 2014 9:53 pm Was at my block tonight and the rectangle area I thought might have been a play area is in fact the raised utility boxes! Its the same in Eliza Ponds. I don't get why they have to be raised when they already (appear) to be out of the water levels that might present in winter...And they aren't hidden by vegetation at all, so hopefully in time they will be. Way to go boys! Been out there edging and ponding it for a nice slower cure. And now it can rest over Christmas and New year. Builder rang to say eastern development isn't energised yet so can't connect to western power dome. I've called Development Manager who said an update email went out yesterday (which i didn't receive). Feeling pretty annoyed given the western estate was energised on December 16th and now Western Power is only committing to 11 - 25th February for the eastern side!!! Anyone else having to hire genetors to pgoress their build? My brickies are due to start monday and will need access to power surely....So might have to foot bill for generator rather than delay the build.... Sigh... Re: Anyone building in the Ocean Road Estate, Coogee? 99Jan 16, 2015 11:56 am We new of this last year, so I think you've missed a couple of emails. Our bricklayers started yesterday without issue. I think most of them have their own little generator for their mixers. Yeah doggies I think you're right and I've let Terranovice know about it, so i'm feeling really annoyed but cest la vie... Maybe i'll push back on Builder and just note that other brickies /roofers have provided their own generators. I brought terry road box hill in June 2022 House was meant to be completed Nov 2023 That did not happen I had to chase them so much to the land Registration and… 0 2520 Wish you all the best.
