Thanks a lot oneskyabove. My hubby and I are really happy so far with the progress. We were informed by our Site Supervisor that plumbing has been done and we should have the roof cover by mid of next week. Re: My first build-At Stockland's Calleya Estate 43Apr 22, 2015 9:56 am chadtyn Very exciting Alishine! What street are you on? Everything is going up so fast, its actually starting to look like a proper estate. Hi chadtyn, Thanks for the post. Yes I am also pleasantly surprised that the place has changed so much within the past 6 months. Looking forward to the journey. Re: My first build-At Stockland's Calleya Estate 44Apr 22, 2015 9:59 am HI, just wanted to ask something about living area dimension. We have 7.5m in length and 5m in width for our living area (meals and living only-kitchen is separate). Is it too small ? We are just having double minds as if we made our living a bit smaller. What do you think ? Kindly let me know. Apart from that, we are happy with our plans so far. Re: My first build-At Stockland's Calleya Estate 45Apr 22, 2015 5:42 pm Hi alishine, not sure I understand what you mean so excuse my answer if it isn't what you're after. You don't normally have the area divided exactly in half for the 2 areas, I'd say your dining bit needs less space as the furniture is less bulky. So I think it will be fine - you can decide how to divide the room when you've moved in really Re: My first build-At Stockland's Calleya Estate 46Apr 22, 2015 9:03 pm MalSannie Hi alishine, not sure I understand what you mean so excuse my answer if it isn't what you're after. Is this small ? We think it is ? On this area we need to put our dining and then the TV/living area. Just felt we should have increased the area at least another half a metre in length. Thanks Re: My first build-At Stockland's Calleya Estate 48Jul 06, 2015 8:10 am alishine143 MalSannie Hi alishine, not sure I understand what you mean so excuse my answer if it isn't what you're after. Thanks Hi Alishine sorry I never saw your reply. I think I knew what you meant, but I thought it would be ok and that you could easily accommodate your areas by arranging your furniture in such a way that half of the 7.5 isn't for living and half for dining? Anyway, it was probably too late to change the room sizes anyway! I guess you're almost moved in by now - how is your build going??
