After lurking for a while, I am now excited to start my own thread. Yesterday I went unconditional on a 669m2 block of land in Fernvale, West of Brisbane. My floor plan needs some final tweaks to it (adding a WIP, and CSD to Living room), but its all very exciting! We were very impressed with the specs of the smaller builder and so far impressed with the service too. Ours tooks roughly 4 weeks through the Lockyer Valley council. Im not going to hold my breath however. Your house is going to look fantastic with those selections That would be awesome if they could get the slab done for Christmas. Do you know how long your builder is closing for over Christmas? Check out their current Google reviews because my experience with them has been similar or even worse than this. We signed up in October 2014 and we are still not in. List of 157 defects and heaps of omissions when builder attempted practical completion. Sorry to be such a kill joy, I really hope it works out better for you.
