Re: Commodore Homes building journey 28Oct 23, 2014 2:42 pm fullmoon Hi I have a feeling that the first Colour for Ensuite And Bathroom bench top is not a good selection, can anyone help me I know we can not change it now but I really need others opinion as well . What's wrong with it? I think it goes lovely it's the right tone and colour and the slight effect in it will stop it looking old when it gets a little bit marked and worn over the years. Re: Commodore Homes building journey 29Oct 25, 2014 12:03 pm thank you triggy i wish you are right .i just thought the top colour is old fashion isnt it , my first choice was white top then i chsnge it to this, lets see when all come together . Re: Commodore Homes building journey 30Nov 07, 2014 1:19 pm Hi fullmoon, i'm building with CH too, am following you as i'd love to find out how you go! My Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=74269 Re: Commodore Homes building journey 32Nov 08, 2014 10:59 pm Thanks Melsie68 and Pzzlmind Melsie68 I am also building in the Glades and I have already checked your thread many times love your beautiful homes and all the selection , I have chosen the feature tiles but hubby said its old fashion not sure how it will come up but I like them . Pzzlmind I am also following your build , unfortunately we are stuck in scheduling 30/09/2014 , yesterday we received an email advising that our file be in construction by Monday finger cross, it's really long time more than 13 months now but still admin process not finish and the most making me worried for my little kids schooling next year , we decided to enrol them in byford school close to our future home and it's stressful for us how we arrange their transport , really our building journey become so stressful for us. Re: Commodore Homes building journey 33Nov 10, 2014 11:01 pm Men know nothing .lol. . it will be stressful to drive everyday to take your kid to school .we drove from byford to maddington for only one week and it was hard . trust me children adapt. More than us . so even changing half way for example should be a easy adaption . and less stress on you Re: Commodore Homes building journey 34Nov 12, 2014 12:27 pm you are right Melsie68 this is which i am also feeling but my one child has mild autism and he has speech problem , for him we are worried might school changing for him will be challenging really its hard decision for us , thank you for kind advice and good news from builder that we moved to construction phase today and they told me the building will take up to 8 months from now . Re: Commodore Homes building journey 35Nov 12, 2014 3:59 pm fullmoon and good news from builder that we moved to construction phase today and they told me the building will take up to 8 months from now . Congrats!! I got the call about moving into construction phase on 31/10/14 and was told approx. 3 weeks to slab down. My siteworks completed on 07/11/14 so that's within 1 week. I'm sure yours will be similarly be relatively quick!! We have taken over 12 months from construction. Up to 8 months is entirely inaccurate. Can you keep your little boy home until you move, to save him from having to switch? It might be less of a transition for him from homeschool, to new home, to school, rather than from home, to school, to another home, to another school.? I have two kids with ASD too. I know how hard the decisions are ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done!
