Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 12, 2014 1:35 pm Hi there Does anyone have a lighting company in Perth they would recommend for getting an LED lighting plan/design and consultation done? I want to do my full lighting requirements after handover and have been to one company but would like to talk to a couple more. Thanks Re: LED lighting plans 3Sep 16, 2014 11:33 am Just wanted to note that I tried Beacon and they were hopeless. Didn’t even end up sending the placement lighting plan and their quote for lights alone was $1000k dearer than my preferred supplier, even after Beacon applied an $800 “discount”! I would highlight recommend LightCube in Myaree. Newer, smaller company and the customer service has been outstanding. We went and met with them for an hour with our house plan. They discussed different light requirements for inside and out, different designs and effects etc and made up a very detailed lighting plan to confirm future LED requirements. Then they have provided a lighting plan to take to prestart which shows the builder where to place the one standard inclusion “crappy old bayonet fitting” per room, in a location that will after handover become an LED fitting. It also has the switching locations and wiring plan along with where we need junction boxes placed for future star lights etc. Its been a pleasant experience dealing with LightCube and I have learnt a lot in the process.
