Oh well... we're still very happy with the progress. I don't really have anything to add from the last post, but thought I'd post some photos for those who love photos! (updated Sep 7) 119Aug 11, 2008 12:30 pm donuts very nice Toast. why did you have to have the different ceiling height in alfresco? We added the alfresco and WE asked for the roof line to match the garage. So that from the side of the house the alfresco wall is the same height as the garage wall. We didn't realise at the time that the garage roof actually comes down slightly lower than the rest of the house. If you look at the first photo of the house (from the front), you can see where the eaves come out from the side of the house, the gutter is lower than the back of the house. This means the alfresco guttering lines up with the front of the house, but not the back. In actual fact, no matter what we did, something wouldn't have lined up. Had we had the roof level with the back of the house, the alfresco wall would be 2 or 3 bricks higher than the garage wall whch would've just looked daft. One of those things you just don't notice when you look at it on the plans.... Alan and Thuy in Melbourne Building a second time!
