Hope Simonds comes through early Re: Slabbed, Framed & Near Lockup (Simonds Avalon) Pics & Vi 62Oct 26, 2014 11:23 am You could look into getting a storage container delivered to your block? It surly wouldn't cost to much & atleast u won't need to move things twice. Would all be on site ready to move in once house is completed. Scabby idiots can't just hire a ute/trailer to collect one of them ... They're pretty solid! Re: Slabbed, Framed & Near Lockup (Simonds Avalon) Pics & Vi 64Oct 26, 2014 5:59 pm Oh great idea, ta simondscleo! We are waiting to hear back from agent now, turns out they haven't sold yet but just want to sell as vacant. I really like your brick colour and how much natural light is coming in. Its frustrating when times get set back, but will all be worth it in the end Re: Slabbed, Framed & Near Lockup (Simonds Avalon) Pics & Vi 69Nov 07, 2014 6:34 pm What's happening with your lovely Avalon Rob? Hoping we get some photos from you this weekend Re: Slabbed, Framed & Near Lockup (Simonds Avalon) Pics & Vi 70Nov 08, 2014 1:11 am Hi TC, me too! We haven't been able to get in to sneak a look as they are locking up tight now. It's purring along nicely though, can see our bench tops are in, tiles laid, bathroom/laundry fittings, outside weather boards/down pipes on. Looks like just flooring, carpet and odd bits and pieces to go. Re: Slabbed, Framed & Near Lockup (Simonds Avalon) Pics & Vi 73Nov 08, 2014 8:22 am Excellent, too excited! Yes I agree Rocky. I was looking through Simonds new website last night (they have our Avalon featured on the home page Rob,) and looked up where the display homes were. In looking at the location of the displays I saw 'Torquay' -- what a beautiful spot!!! And I remembered that gorgeous view from your first posts Can't wait to see the next round of work, looks fabulous! We also noticed a couple things today that will hopefully be sorted before our inspection, like our balcony doors aren't quite square and neither is the downstairs shower screen. Luckily the place we are renting ended up being sold to an investor and they are happy for us to go month to month, woohoo!
