Can I ask you, are your down pipes concealed in your portico pillars? Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 364Jul 17, 2015 7:45 pm DandyDons83 Hope they fix everything in time for you Druid. Can I ask you, are your down pipes concealed in your portico pillars? Hi Dandy, I dont have downpipes on my portico, the portico gutters drain onto the main roof and then down the downpipe on the left of the garage and on the end wall next to the study by the meter box, the downpipes have been removed for the Acrashield Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 365Jul 17, 2015 7:54 pm Ah, I was beginning to get my hope up. Mine are supposed to be but they're not. They are "looking into it" which probably means I will have to just put up with it. Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 366Jul 18, 2015 6:12 pm Wow looking good. Tiles are a massive improvement, so glad they rectified that for you. We aren't getting the Acrashield, they wanted another 6K for it. Nearly fell off my chair laughing! Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 367Jul 18, 2015 9:37 pm I really like the effect on your fence pillars Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 368Jul 19, 2015 12:43 pm That's rubbish about the windows Druid. Will keep and eye out for that when the time comes. Looks Amazing from the outside! Hopefully anyway! Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 372Jul 21, 2015 9:11 pm Or your local MP if no luck at Aus Post head office. Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 373Jul 21, 2015 10:07 pm I think the MP is the way to go, I forgot to mention that the wife also spent 40 minutes on the phone to Aus Post, they offered h a rebated PO Box until the problem got resolved, then then she went to the post iffice and basically had to start again, but they wouldnt give her a rebated Post Box and she had to take it for a year, then as we already had a mail redirection in place, it got even more confusing and complicated, to the point that the wife had to walk away before she started screaming at them Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 374Jul 21, 2015 11:17 pm Yikes....what a pain! If the street exists...why wouldnt they include it in the route?! Hope you get it sorted soon. Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 376Jul 24, 2015 7:10 pm I figured the post issue out, forget phoning or visiting post offices, its just a frustrating waste of time, go online at the regular post website and click to report missing mail, it asks you to put your address in and submit it, a day later I got an e mail from the post office to say that the problem has been resolved and my address has been added to the posties route, they even send you a letter to prove the problem..................result................thanks Aus Post Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 377Jul 24, 2015 7:29 pm That's great but can't see why people in the PO could not have actioned the same result. Never mind, you have mail Re: Ben Trager Sunshine Burns Beach Build 378Jul 24, 2015 7:50 pm So it was easy in the end. Your poor wife having to go through all that hassle and they could've done it there and then. Looks like they maybe need a retraining day!
