Love all the storage space. Love the idea of incorporating the laminate in too... will look great! ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Wardrobe plans 802Sep 17, 2015 12:55 pm Lovely kitchen and wardrobe. I like the color. You have two laminate selections. We could only choose one. It looks like the easiest way to get business is to hook up one of the clients on H1. Perhaps i should get a quote from flexi too. ![]() Timeline: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76782 Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Wardrobe plans 803Sep 17, 2015 7:19 pm Hootie those wardrobes look amazing I love the renders - much easier to see what you'll end up with! It is strange how people use space differently, I personally prefer more shelving and less hanging, but my Mum said the opposite ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Wardrobe plans 804Sep 17, 2015 8:53 pm Wardrobes look great Hootie may have to get a quote from them as well ![]() How did they compare with the others for pricing? ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Garage Doors!! 805Sep 17, 2015 9:41 pm Thanks everyone! We love the renders too. For those who are considering contacting Flexi, I would say go to the showroom and have a look at the display units for yourselves. They are happy to answer your queries too. P.S. I am not paid by them to say all this, it's all from our experience that I'm sharing... The laminate edging and drawer fronts were an extra cost, but then again, it's not common to have it so we thought we'd go with it. Also, all the shelves are removable, so we can move them as we please, or in the kids room, the shelves can be removed and a hanging rail installed if they need more hanging space. But truth be told, we don't have many hanging clothes items ![]() Can't really comment on pricing because each of your designs will be different but my advice is to get a quote and see how you go ![]() Today's update! Garage doors installed....colour is Surfmist and looks pretty good. We were worried it would be too light, but turns out it looks ok. Other than a few cracked cornices in the garage, a leaky tap, a couple of cracked pavers and few tiny gaps or uneveness in the eaves and alfresco ceiling section, all seemed to be ok. Then we noticed these 2 things.... ![]() 1) Damp brick seems to have grown mould (?)...This is the wall of the Theatre facing the Alfresco. This photo was taken on 12 Sept, just after we had some heavy rain: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ As you can see, there is a section of brick and mortar that seems darker than others...we are not sure how this could happen except hazzard a guess that water must have gotten in somehow got in from the roof area? Again we are not sure....but decided to keep an eye on it for the next few days. Over the week that are seemed to dry out. However today, this is what we saw: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Again you can see that after a week the bricks are still appear to be "drying out"...how strange. And the top brick below the fascia appeared to have a greenish tinge on it...here is a closeup: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Are we seeing things....?? ![]() ![]() 2) Finishing at fascia ends seems to need attention...hope that is not rust at the bottom part ![]() Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ On the bright side, we are very happy with the finishing to the front garage pier wall. As you can see, there is now a neat border installed between the rendered part and the part covered by the colorbond. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Also, the roof area between the pier and the pitched section of the roof has been tidied up (previously the colorbond covering had been lightly wavy). So we are very pleased that this has been rectified after we mentioned it. 5 days to first PCI.
