Fingers crossed the next couple of weeks go smoothly for you. Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - PCI BOOKED! 762Sep 11, 2015 1:48 pm Wow our lists are pretty much the same for what is left to complete except I'm still waiting on tiles/grano/paving, so my PCI date should be not too far behind yours, hopefully! How exciting!! The next few weeks are going to be soo slow for you ![]() Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - PCI BOOKED! 763Sep 11, 2015 3:09 pm Hooray!! That is amazing that it is much sooner than what you originally thought! You will be in your new home in no time ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - PCI BOOKED! 768Sep 12, 2015 12:59 am Thank you everyone!! ![]() Yes it has been quite a ride these few weeks...and we are happy with the builder and the SS as it has been generally very smooth going. And also the way it's powering on right now. Also to have the first PCI soon is really fantastic! Can't wait till we do the landscaping, which will complete the look. Today we got blinds! And the driveway and path to the porch is almost complete. Driveway: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Path to porch and front door. MalSannie - Yes we are happy with the colour of the downpipes as well. It does melt into the background doesn't it? As for the firepit, one of the landscapers that we are consulting with calls it a "conversation pit" which makes it sound really swish, but when you think of it, it's true! ![]() In other news, we have confirmed the design of the wardrobes so it should be all systems go for the internals once handover is complete. They must have been fitted sometime yesterday, but my wife didn't notice... Front door: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Garage entry door - we are glad we chose the satin finish for the door hardware: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We are assuming that the interior door handles would have also been done, but cannot confirm until we can get in to look. We love how the painted electrical box at the blade wall has become almost unnoticeable, except for the white pipe to the right of it. It has some wiring sticking out of it and we can't think of what it is. Might have to find some way to hide it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Question to others: This is the paving in the Alfresco area. The left side does not seem to have been filled so there is a gap between the pavers and the bricks that the window is on...not sure why...hoping its because the person paver hasn't finished yet: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ With the heavy rainfall that's been happening over the last few days, we spotted a potential issue that we will have to mention to the SS. There appears to be a leak coming from the roof area. You can see some bricks near the top which appear to be damp: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hopefully this will be an easy issue to resolve. Also think the white pipe is the conduit for your phone line. Other than that it all looking fantastic!! Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Paving, door handles 772Sep 13, 2015 12:14 am I'm with Asha it looks stunning! The doors are beautiful. However, we are glad that we stuck to it and bucked the trend... ![]() Today we got flyscreens...looks great, but we are unsure why the design has a strip in the middle? The flyscreen that we have at our current place has only the frame without the strip in the middle, if you know what I mean.
