Ourmansion - We love the ensuite window too...my wife said ok to the window there on one condition, it must be above our heads lol ::wink::

We decided to go for the black tile look in the ensuite, bathroom and powder room as a statement...would have had even more effect if it had been full height tiling but oh well...we can paint the walls a darker colour later if we wish...the colour that will go on for now is:

Love, love LOVE this mood board Hootie, the colours look great. is the tall white thing next to the toilet on your powder room board a sink? if so that is awesome and i can not wait to see what that looks like. I also love them wall taps in your common bathroom. You must be so excited to see all these ideas coming together. I for one can wait to see your house at completion. It looks like it wont be long.

Tiling looks great, Hootie! Love the black bathroom tiles, and I love how you went with the white grout for the white subway tiles, looks so fresh!

I really like that paint colour. I would love to go floor to ceiling tiles too, but just not in the budget. Can't wait to see the bathrooms all done. You have good taste

We are certainly happy with how the tiles are turning out ::smile::

The tilers have been very detailed and neat in their work so far and we can't wait to see the bathrooms complete. The small tiles in the scullery/laundry seem to have turned out well to and we are glad that we chose matt white vs glossy for that area.

Lozel - Yes, the tall white thing is a stand alone sink...we were inspired to get one when we saw a similar sink at a display home in Gwelup - The Warehaus by Residential Attitudes.

The sink is quite eye catching and we can't wait to have ours installed. The sink is from FAHM Bathroom in Beckenham.

Just read through your entire thread today! ( I am so not busy at work at the moment!)
Anyway, just thought I would say that it is such a good idea to mark where the pipes and wires are in the wall. I will definitely be doing this! Looking forward to seeing it come together

Just to let everyone know that I will probably not be updating this thread regularly but maybe only when there are some major updates. I might still be lurking ::lol::

I will also probably not be posting any more photos till after handover. I had wished for this thread to be a compilation of our feelings during the build, documenting the excitement, hope, challenges and achievements...

To those of you who have been following this thread and posting comments, thank you...you guys are like a virtual family to me and provided support, advice and humour during my build. ::celeb::

For that I am grateful....

Here's hoping everyone's build progresses well ::celeb::

We are looking forward to the completion of the build and are very happy with the builder. The smooth journey we've had is more than we could ask for.
