Real Good!! ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Ceilings and site cl 515Jul 13, 2015 11:58 pm Thanks again everyone for the kind words, the excitement grows daily as we approach lock up... YES! LOCK UP! Today at the roof meeting, the SS told us that he is aiming for 24th July as the lockup date! ![]() The roof meeting went really well today. Our concerns were addressed and the SS had already a list of items (including ours) which he will follow up on. It's really reassuring to know that he has already noted the items we had in our list before we met. In terms of the leaks that I posted photos of earlier, those will be fixed when the roofing people return to finish up a bit of left over work. I will miss going to the house the rest of this week because I'll be overseas on a conference (been going to site almost daily), however, I'm sure my wife will keep me updated. ![]() I hope your builds are progressing well too ![]() Our Build Thread: The "Extended" Marina by Visionone Homes Our Inspirations: Frank Lloyd Wright | Houzz Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Lock Up est 24 Jul!! 516Jul 14, 2015 4:48 pm Congrats on a lock up date ![]() Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Lock Up est 24 Jul!! 517Jul 15, 2015 4:02 am Oh my gosh that is 10 days away - whoop!!! Just see that your garage ceiling is gyprock? Our garage, alfresco and eaves are fibro which they installed before the roof on. They were soaked in the rain while we waited for roof tiles. Not sure if it is standard. Can't believe that lock up date! Feeling very excited for you Hootie!! That's great news ![]() ![]() Thanks jlo1990, MalSannie and jelbell55...the news about an estimated lock up date was initially exciting to us, but in the last 3 days we have had no plasterer ![]() ![]() I am assuming this means 5 working days and after that doors and windows installed before 24th July....at this point, I am not holding my breath that the 24th July date will be met. ![]() ![]() Interesting. Just see that your garage ceiling is gyprock? Our garage, alfresco and eaves are fibro which they installed before the roof on. They were soaked in the rain while we waited for roof tiles. Not sure if it is standard. Hi Sofia14, we opted for gyprock for the garage, so that went up after the roof cover was done. We've been told that the fibro material are ok to get wet...but we didn't want ours soaked if it could be helped. That being said, we did look at those parts of the fibro evaves that have had some soaking and so far their condition seems to be ok. It's understandable that we as houseowners will be concerned about these things! ![]() Our Build Thread: The "Extended" Marina by Visionone Homes Our Inspirations: Frank Lloyd Wright | Houzz It's been a great year for EcoEco, we overcame supply problems, we grew our sales, and we developed enduring relationships which all make for a prosperous future.
