I am a Samsung fan! - also love the hallway Hootie, so amazing! It is going to look brilliant. Seriously that skillion roof is bloody brilliant! Now can I rip off half my roof and plonk one on? Haha Re: Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof 424Jun 19, 2015 2:55 pm ![]() You have very civilised rants, Hootie ![]() ![]() ![]() There seems to be a lot of us being roof sheeted at the moment, perhaps across the board they are in high demand, like when we went through brickies being in high demand, hope they get back on track for you soon! ![]() ...- also love the hallway Hootie, so amazing! Haha Lol...appreciate the support guys... ![]() archetto - you are probably right but we hope that we get the rest of our roof cover done soon so hope they get back here soon... My wife reports that there is some work going on today when she drove by...they could have felt our "vibe" and acted upon it (?) ![]() Apparently in some areas the internal ceiling is going in, so we might have some pics of those later. However I am confused as I though ceilings would be generally done after the roof cover was completed? Not sure. ![]() The exterior of a theatre wall is still missing a downpipe (cut out is in the eaves area), but perhaps that would go on after the render is done? Dunno... Anyway, it's always exciting to see some work happening on the house ![]() Our Build Thread: The "Extended" Marina by Visionone Homes Our Inspirations: Frank Lloyd Wright | Houzz Re: Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof 425Jun 19, 2015 7:10 pm None of our downpipes are on where render is being done, only where it is face brick. Very odd to be putting in ceilings with only half a roof! Very odd to be putting in ceilings with only half a roof! Ah thanks archetto, so ours is probably a similar case...but we will keep a keen eye on this because we are of the opinion that there should at least be 2 downpipes for a skillion roof. As for the ceiling work today, it appears only the skillion section was completed (full cover in that area). So my wife went by this arvo and we now have: 1) External ceiling boards for the skillion 2) Insulation installed for the theatre and main entry 3) Plasterer's sand delivered But two thirds of our roof frame still has no colorbond....oh well, let's hope they get to that soon ![]() Here is a pic of work that was done today for the skillion section (you can see the insulation on the internal ceiling): Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I can look at this photo all day long...the blue skies in the background...the angle of the roof...love it! ![]() ![]() Our Build Thread: The "Extended" Marina by Visionone Homes Our Inspirations: Frank Lloyd Wright | Houzz Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof?? 427Jun 19, 2015 8:56 pm It looks great Hootie. Our rental is only in Ellenbrook. I reckon I'll have to do a drive round and see if I can spot it in the flesh (or rather brick!) Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof?? 428Jun 19, 2015 9:52 pm Hootie that is looking amazing - so damn awesome! Interesting they are doing ceilings before roof is finished, keen to see how that all pans out! Re: Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof 429Jun 19, 2015 10:03 pm It looks amazing Hootie!!! Big fan of the skillion roof!! Sounds like there has been great progress, even if only a portion of the roof has been done! Lets hope you see more of a roof over the weekend ![]() Re: Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Where's our roof 430Jun 19, 2015 11:28 pm Ooh, that skillion looks great! Now if only we can get the rest of the roof cover done that would be great....but NO... ![]() ![]() Today will be one month since the roof timbers started and we still do not have complete roof cover yet. We had made a clear request that the roof cover be on before the winter rains but no luck so far and we have had quite a bit of rain. Re: Re: Building with Visionone in Aveley - Getting Frustrat 438Jun 22, 2015 10:02 pm I don't get on H1 very often but look at various people posts every now and then. Congrats on the roof.
