Just caught up on your thread. House plans are fantastic!
It's great that your builder is giving you foreacsted dates. I literally have to drag information out of Redink with regard to a timeline andthen they will only give me the next stage!

Thank you nikkis2000! Yes, soon you will be at this stage too. Quite surreal when I think about it and look back at the rest of the processes. Hopefully the building goes well for us and all the best for your build too.

We didn't really get forecasted dates, it is more like "Concrete Slab - Scheduled", but because we get these updates fortnightly, we expect that they will be completed within that time period unless otherwise advised by the site supervisor. So far so good!

We almost built with Redink too but luckily we didn't not because of anything other than we would have built exactly the same house as our immediate neighbour! That might have been a small disaster for good neighbourly relations lol....

I love the house building etiquette!

Being from the UK where all the houses on the same street are pretty much the same and the design is dictated by the developer, it's very refreshing!

We also love how the different house designs contribute to the character of the street. I think it's the luck of the draw though if it came down to 2 identical house designs built side by side...

That being said, Redink are building quite a few houses in the new side of Aveley.

We are the only ones building with Vision One at the moment, they have confirmed no other builds in Aveley yet...but maybe their new display home in Annie's Landing in Ellenbrook would change that

Thanks JustinInPerth, yeah we are loving our skillion roof as well...can't wait to see it when it's finally finished. That's one of things that we didn't mind paying for....

Haha Valentine's Day slab, can't ask for more! Think the tradies got home in time to spend the arvo and rest of the day with their loved ones

Its good that your neighbours are built, you will have less noise and sand when you move in. They just have to deal with your noisy built ;-)

Yeah haha, we've met 2 of them, one from the house opposite us and the other our immediate neighbour to our right. They seem nice enough. Have mentioned that there might be a bit of noise and they seemed to take it well...lol...so far...

Went past the land after work and was pleasantly surprised to see workers had installed the soakwells! They are really keeping to schedule....

We are continually surprised at the rate it's moving and hope that this keeps up throughout the build
