Yeah, we've been told that we should get the chippies next week when they finish their current job. I'm interpreting that to mean the week after!

Got a bunch of emails from the builder on Friday so it means we have to finally commit to our plumbing fixtures and appliances.

I put together a collage of our plumbing selections (after I did this I realised I left out the toilets! Ha, but they don't matter).

It looks beautiful - and I think I've spied it ardie - it is the cool waterfall type one! I love it. I've been considering something similar (but not nearly as nice) that I might take a long from here to replace the one we'll have installed! But I may be living on water alone by then so will have to see what the budget looks like

Thanks guys - well spotted mal! A word of warning if you do bring your own to change over - this particular fitting requires a male connecting part, whereas apparently usually female connecting parts are plumbed in. So you may need to double check what you have and chat with your builder about it.

On another note, I went into Winning Appliances today and got some GREAT prices on Siemens ovens. Was quite happy until I found out they don't actually have any in stock to sell me, and Siemens don't have any in stock either. No wonder the prices were good. Why did they even bother??

No lead time, they are discontinued, but they didn't tell me that until I pressed them to check they had stock.
