Exciting! Are you going to go and pond it or water it to help it cure or is it being covered? I ponded mine twice a day for four days but the novelty soon wore off! Haha

I don't imagine you as the camping type, but I reckon you'd be tempted to sleep over at your block tonight... Will keep an eye on Nearmap for you. Chances are you'll get an aerial shot before the walls start going up.

It's very exciting! I'm not sure what ponding is? but thinking about hosing it down after work every day. But yes, I suspect the novelty will wear off rather soon!

Great Trixee. By the look of the colour of the slab you have on your blog it looks like it has been sealed with a retardant. My slab had the same and it looks very dark and then changes colour over about a week or so.

Maybe someone more informed can chip in. When the crew poured mine I was seeing whether I needed to water the slab and they recommended it if it was sealed with a retardant.

If its going to be very hot you can put sand around the edges and then turn the hose on to fill it like a little pool.

So exciting......

Yeah hubby was complaining about them being expensive! But the floor tile is only $48/sqm. The bathroom tile is $98/sqm retail, but I get trade discount of 20% for using the interior designer. The laundry tile was I think $60/sqm.
