Brad - that wheel we actually left there on purpose, were hoping the demo guys would cart it away. They didn't. And no member of the kind public seems to want to steal it either!

So, you guys are gonna love this. Maybe I should start a tally board.
First delay: Slab delayed until Saturday because of peak hour traffic restricting access.
Now, I don't mean to get my grumpy pants on already, but really. They had the address, they knew it was a busy road, did this never actually occur to them during the initial scheduling? ::surprise::

At least they let us know beforehand. And at least it's only a couple of days. Not a biggie in reality.

argh how frustrating. In the scheme of things nothing, but it's so frustrating for any delay. Did you have to pay extra for the busy road as we were 'waived' that as we are in a cul de sac

Ha! That's nuts. You should say in passing that at least now they realise how busy it gets and they'll be more prepared so it won't happen again... or something eluding to the fact that they can't get away with using this excuse twice!

I can't recall it being taken off but I do recall they had to allow for it if we did have a busy street!

Yvonne - there was no explicit fee, but if there was it was probably just included in the initial quote. It's a custom build so no real comparison.

Cat_dunc - ha! Yes I thought next time we have a scheduling conversation I'll just innocently ask if they've considered the traffic
