They didn't. And no member of the kind public seems to want to steal it either! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 568Feb 13, 2015 7:12 pm Sorry Trixee. My magic 8 ball isn't even wanting to predict for you (about the potential September timeframe) Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 570Feb 13, 2015 9:24 pm Cool, once the loo arrives, workmen aren't far behind

Yippee for slab... and slab party!!! Look forward to sexy slab pics!!! ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 575Feb 16, 2015 9:48 pm So, you guys are gonna love this. Maybe I should start a tally board. First delay: Slab delayed until Saturday because of peak hour traffic restricting access. Now, I don't mean to get my grumpy pants on already, but really. They had the address, they knew it was a busy road, did this never actually occur to them during the initial scheduling? ![]() At least they let us know beforehand. And at least it's only a couple of days. Not a biggie in reality. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 576Feb 16, 2015 10:03 pm argh how frustrating. In the scheme of things nothing, but it's so frustrating for any delay. Did you have to pay extra for the busy road as we were 'waived' that as we are in a cul de sac Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 577Feb 16, 2015 10:05 pm Ha! That's nuts. You should say in passing that at least now they realise how busy it gets and they'll be more prepared so it won't happen again... or something eluding to the fact that they can't get away with using this excuse twice! Lucky it was only a couple of days ![]() Can't wait to see that much awaited slab!!! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 578Feb 16, 2015 10:06 pm ![]() argh how frustrating. We're on a dead-end street too and didn't get a discount ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 579Feb 16, 2015 10:38 pm I can't recall it being taken off but I do recall they had to allow for it if we did have a busy street! ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 580Feb 16, 2015 10:58 pm Yvonne - there was no explicit fee, but if there was it was probably just included in the initial quote. It's a custom build so no real comparison. Cat_dunc - ha! Yes I thought next time we have a scheduling conversation I'll just innocently ask if they've considered the traffic ![]() 0 1164 We came across your post and it mirrors our situation. Have you progressed in the interim and would you have any advice for us? Thanks in advance! 40 23936 Hi Josh & Eve, thanks for the info, we have decided to play it safe and have 3 phase installed if it is available, would rather be safe than sorry. cheers, Lynne 12 5902 |
