Thanks Rache! I LOVE those flat panel LED lights but I was vetoed

You're welcome, and thanks! I'll have to have another look at the metal fans, I think I'd prefer something unobtrusive in the bedroom.

We are so over budget on our build I reckon we will be looking at those lovely builders plastic white shades for a while!! Except for the kitchen - gotta have some pendants. Have you seen the flat panel LED lights? They sit almost flush with the ceiling. Not pretty like your lot but very smart. ![]() Thanks Rache! I LOVE those flat panel LED lights but I was vetoed ![]() ![]() Thanks for linking to your blog. I use Tapatalk on my phone and it doesn't show people's signatures or blog addresses. Blog is good reading! We just went with metal fans in a modern style and I've been really happy with them in the sense they don't stand out, nor do they clash with anything. Congrats on nearly getting a building permit. ![]() You're welcome, and thanks! I'll have to have another look at the metal fans, I think I'd prefer something unobtrusive in the bedroom. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 362Nov 23, 2014 6:38 pm Ooh a link please to the led panel lights? I just googled and got very office looking ones... Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 363Nov 23, 2014 6:54 pm I *think* these are the ones Rache was talking about. Here are the links I found a while back. I first saw these in a lighting shop HS Reflections in Malaga, and then tried to find them again online but it was actually quite hard to find them strangely enough. Perhaps I wasn't googling the right thing. http://www.archello.com/en/product/led-panel-light# http://industrialled.com.au/products/re ... ight-range The quotes I got were: PREMIUM DIAMOND 45 WATT SLIMLINE RECTANGLE LED PANEL LIGHT IN 300MM X 1200MM $265.50 PREMIUM DIAMOND 44 WATT SLIMLINE SQUARE LED PANEL LIGHT IN 600MM X 600MM $265.50. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 364Nov 23, 2014 8:52 pm I think I'll have to see them irl as the ones are all looking too office-based for me although I like that they are unassuming... Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 365Nov 23, 2014 10:14 pm I think they would be great in the garage or even the laundry (unless, of course, you wanted a chandelier in the laundry which I am totally on board with, by the way!). Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 366Nov 23, 2014 10:16 pm Love all the lighting choices trixee ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 368Nov 23, 2014 10:20 pm I am also considering getting the Web etch tom dixon in copper for my Masterbed. You have outstanding taste lol. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 369Nov 23, 2014 10:28 pm The web etch throws amazing shadows, would look stunning in a bedroom I think! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 370Nov 26, 2014 10:51 am I love your lighting choices!! I might be borrowing some of your ideas ![]() My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 372Nov 26, 2014 12:26 pm I looked at the modo chandelier for our place ![]() ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Now we just have to wait for the phone call from the builder... Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 375Nov 27, 2014 8:56 pm Woohoo congrats on the permit! Here's to a slab-y Chrissy ![]() ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 376Nov 27, 2014 9:00 pm Congrats trixee - that's fantastic news. Another step closer to starting ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 377Nov 27, 2014 9:20 pm I'm still hoping for a slab by Christmas, but I don't think I'll get it. But, you never know, it's not over til it's over! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 378Nov 27, 2014 9:53 pm congrats Trixee! There's still almost a full month of possible work Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 379Nov 27, 2014 9:57 pm Great news. A slab before Xmas would be great as it would be curing while the builder is on break! Meaning in a perfect world your bricks could start first thing in the new year.... But that's far too much optimism for this building caper ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 380Nov 27, 2014 10:21 pm Thanks Yvonne!
