Big congrats on getting your keys and for building an absolutely stunning home.Yours makes me want to build all over again...did i just say that?!!! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2066Dec 13, 2015 1:41 pm Congrats Trixee can't wait to see your photos ![]() Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2067Dec 18, 2015 12:50 pm I've just realised how much I hate packing... We've had so much happen in the last couple of weeks I haven't had the chance to have a good sit down and laze about on the interwebs! I'll upload some pictures later, but driveway is done (final seal today), marri floors sanded and polished, skirting boards have been installed, painters are finishing up today, greywater & rainwater are being hooked up, security system is being hooked up, we've been back and forth from the house supervising trades etc. Biggest problem is Telstra can't do their job right and get the phone line working, so annoying. I've gone through the formal complaint process and the TIO, so it's just a waiting game now. They're trying to fob it off on us of course but it's definitely their problem. Anyway, back to packing I guess! ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2068Dec 20, 2015 1:25 am OOOh can't wait to see the floors. My favorite wood (with spotted gum). What finish is on them Trixee? Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2069Dec 21, 2015 12:05 am Snap on the Telstra front. My husband also submitted a complaint last week after Telstra failed to deliver and consequently we've had to cancel our smart wiring handover. Sounds like you've been extra busy. http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2070Dec 21, 2015 2:27 am Telstra are driving me crazy!! I've waited home twice now for them to come "between 9-1" only to have no one come despite me ringing twice to be told he was running late but still on his way, to ring again at 3 and be told he has updated the system with "client not ready" ummm what?? How would he know as he never came!! So now he's coming "apparently" on Christmas Eve, he better turn up this time!! Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2071Dec 21, 2015 4:34 am Oh no you guys are making me nervous re Telstra! Fingers crossed it all works out well for everyone. They've booked in for mid Jan for us ![]() Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2072Dec 24, 2015 4:30 pm I still don't have my phonwithe line, so no internet either!!! It's driving me nuts. Can back up my phone, can't do Online banking, can't do anything! And so I'm chewing up all my mobile data allowance as well as the phone allowance calling telstra to complain. Not happy! On the plus side the house is looking fab, will post pics soon. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 2073Dec 24, 2015 10:37 pm Telstra finally came today and did what they needed to do, but with Christmas etc it will still be a while before we get internet, my phone bill has already increased $30 for the month ugh! Look forward to photos!
