how high is your ceiling in the entry? I thought it would be too low (31c) for ours in the entry so I've moved it to the stairwell but now I love the idea of it being in the stairwell anyway, and need to find someone else for the entry

can't wait to see yours on, I lovvve the pattern it puts off.

What excellent taste you have archetto!

the ceiling in the entry is 34 course. And I think the diameter of the pendant is 65cm. It seems to fit OK. What's on your shortlist for a replacement?

I have nooo idea, I'm yet to find anything that ticks every box. I wouldn't mind a small moooi raimond pendant tho (30-40cm in diameter or so) but can't find any for under $400...

I almost went with the Moooi replica for the dining light. Here's a couple to look at:

I've purchased from both places and both have great service. Zest is really fast with delivery, Bitola is a bit slower. Both had excellent customer service and went out of their way to answer questions.

The one in the living room is the Big A$s Fan Haiku, you have to get them online from the Big A$s Fans website. The process is a bit clunky but they don't have other distributors. http://www.bigassfans.com/au/for-home/haiku/

Haiku Matrix Composite – Black or White: $ 979.00 per fan (LED option adds an additional $95.00)*

What we actually got was:
60" Haiku fan in Black Composite, no LED, Standard profile $995

Wow Trixee, it all looks fantastic! We're having your main bedroom fan in our living/ meals. It likes great, we bought it without seeing it and very pleased with how it looks.

Thanks TraceyWayne. Yes it's a great looking fan and performs well in the Choice tests. Will be good to turn it on in a few weeks and see how it performs.

Are you putting A/C in Trixee or just using the fans? I guess because your house is an eco home you have positioned it such that you won't need A/C?

The idea is to not have air conditioning. We'll live with it for a year and see how we go!

Oh and apparently I got the ceiling height in the entry wrong. It's actually about 37 course. The bulkhead is at 34 course and then we raised the middle bit about 30cm.

Black fan is a good choice, I think bamboo would be out of place.

As for your Mother, given your age difference, if she loved it all it probably would have been old fashioned

It all looks amazing Trixee! I'm with MnT on the fan bamboo would have looked a bit out of place. Love the bedroom fan. Similar to the one we're having in the long area.
Really wishing we'd raised our hallway ceiling. Struggling to find a Pendant I like that will fit!!
