Yes we both are rather excellent! ![]() I almost went with the Moooi replica for the dining light. Here's a couple to look at: http://www.zestlighting.com.au/replica- ... ion-light/ http://www.bitolalighting.com.au/shop/4 ... 18/8754449 I've purchased from both places and both have great service. Zest is really fast with delivery, Bitola is a bit slower. Both had excellent customer service and went out of their way to answer questions. ![]() Black fans look awesome ! !! Can I ask where you got them from? The one in the living room is the Big A$s Fan Haiku, you have to get them online from the Big A$s Fans website. The process is a bit clunky but they don't have other distributors. http://www.bigassfans.com/au/for-home/haiku/ The one in the master bedroom is a Brilliant Galaxy, purchased from Bitola Lighting. http://www.bitolalighting.com.au/shop/4 ... 8w/7371446 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1866Oct 26, 2015 4:58 pm Thanks Trixee, budget doesn't allow spending more on lighting at the moment ![]() Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1867Oct 26, 2015 4:59 pm Hey Trixee, can I ask how much the Haiku fan was? Sure! The quote we got was: HAIKU 52” & 60” – 1.3m & 1.5m diameter Haiku Bamboo – Caramel or Cocoa: $ 1099.00 per fan (LED option adds an additional $95.00)* Haiku Matrix Composite – Black or White: $ 979.00 per fan (LED option adds an additional $95.00)* What we actually got was: 60" Haiku fan in Black Composite, no LED, Standard profile $995 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1869Oct 26, 2015 6:51 pm Thanks trixee! We're having your main bedroom fan in our living/ meals. It likes great, we bought it without seeing it and very pleased with how it looks. Custom build Northern NSW viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72217 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1871Oct 26, 2015 7:21 pm Thanks TraceyWayne. Yes it's a great looking fan and performs well in the Choice tests. Will be good to turn it on in a few weeks and see how it performs. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1872Oct 26, 2015 7:31 pm Are you putting A/C in Trixee or just using the fans? I guess because your house is an eco home you have positioned it such that you won't need A/C? Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1873Oct 26, 2015 7:34 pm The idea is to not have air conditioning. We'll live with it for a year and see how we go! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1874Oct 26, 2015 7:36 pm Funny you say that Trixee, that's how I picked the fan in the end based on choice tests! Is it the antique bronze? Custom build Northern NSW viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72217 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1875Oct 26, 2015 7:41 pm We are doing the same, no A/C however our house is probably positioned wrong, just going to hope the sea breeze is good enough ![]() Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1876Oct 26, 2015 7:43 pm TraceyWayne - Great minds, hey! Yes it's the antique bronze. Had a look at the other colours but didn't like them as much. Oh and apparently I got the ceiling height in the entry wrong. It's actually about 37 course. The bulkhead is at 34 course and then we raised the middle bit about 30cm. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1878Oct 26, 2015 8:25 pm Black fan is a good choice, I think bamboo would be out of place. As for your Mother, given your age difference, if she loved it all it probably would have been old fashioned ![]() My build thread: Custom build on 40 acres viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75656 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1879Oct 26, 2015 9:22 pm True enough MnT! It's usually a good sign when she doesn't like something, which is a regular occurrence ![]() Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1880Oct 26, 2015 10:44 pm It all looks amazing Trixee! I'm with MnT on the fan bamboo would have looked a bit out of place. Love the bedroom fan. Similar to the one we're having in the long area. Really wishing we'd raised our hallway ceiling. Struggling to find a Pendant I like that will fit!! 0 1088 We came across your post and it mirrors our situation. Have you progressed in the interim and would you have any advice for us? Thanks in advance! 40 23488 Hi Josh & Eve, thanks for the info, we have decided to play it safe and have 3 phase installed if it is available, would rather be safe than sorry. cheers, Lynne 12 5843 |
