Trixee, I was just noticing the edge of your beautiful bath hob. How did you get away without having a chrome stripe? I'm not particularly fond of ours but the tiler talked me into it!

Wow those Ensuite tiles look amazing - can't wait to see a picture when it is completed. PS I really really like the laundry - the tiles above the cabinet somehow softens it :-)

Hi admodra, the edge is just mitred (we paid a bucket for mitred edges everywhere, which is why I was freaking out when they said they might not be able to do it on the wavy tile). The only place they can't/won't do it is around the niche as it changes from the 3D tile to a flat tile inside the niche (so our bottles don't fall over). Mitring those different tiles together won't work as they are too different and won't match up.

I'v just popped over to your thread to find a picture. Not sure why he said he couldn't do it, you seem to have the same tiles for both vertical and horizontal. If you've paid for mitred edges, I'd query it.

Ohhhhhhh Trixee! Those tiles were worth the pain they gave you! They look awesome! And the cupboards look great now that the floor is in!

Trixee your tiles are GORGEOUS! I really like your floor tiles it brings it all together so nicely. My favourite - after your stunning ensuite tiles and my fav kitchen is your guest bathroom. WOW!

Thanks mal, I love that guest bathroom tile too, it was one of the very first ones I saw. By the time I got to ordering it had been discontinued but I managed to get the last batch

It's by Cerim, and is called MS Travertino.

Love all the tiling photos particularly the guest and en-suite bathrooms.

The en-suite tiles remind me of sand ridges blowing in the wind. I'm not sure about being on display thru that window though

Have you any window treatment/ outdoor landscaping plans for it?

We do have vague landscaping plans... we might have to install a temporary blind or something until the plants grow though!

OMG OMG OMG!! It was certainly worth the wait trixee!!! You have amazing taste and it all looks beautifil together. Love your floor tiles and that incredible feature tile in your bathroom..Wow.. favourite though is your guest bathroom..definitely would love to stay at yours! So classy. Well done chick. Such a super job!

Thanks Rache and Ilaeria. Glad I stuck to my guns on the guest bathroom tile, the designer poo-pooed it and said I should put the fancy tile every where but I think this looks better

Wow trixee it has all come together fabulously! Those ensuite tiles are simply stunning. I really love your laundry tiles too, very pretty. Your dark kitchen cabinetry really looks amazing. Glad you're happier with how it's coming together. Sometimes you just need everything in to really see it come together as imagined.

And jelbel - thanks for posting that pic! It really is a lovely paver. I think we ended up deciding against it though and went with the plain one, mainly for practicality reasons as you mentioned earlier.
