Nope, that's being done this week. They wanted to do it after the white set as we're having shadowline ceilings in the open plan area. They reckon it will give the plastering a nicer (or easier) finish doing it that way.

It's ceilings for both of us now Trixee! White set makes your place look huge!! I hope you find some better lights.
I'm having doubts about the kitchen pendants I've chosen now, but I would like them a different shape- but oh well it's a rental...Unless I can use them somewhere else in the house. Hmmmm.. I was going to stick with the very fashionable "fly loo" ones elsewhere like Mal though, and sava dah money. I will wait to see what they look like once the ceilings are in...

I'll have another look at the lights and decide if we can live with the defects, might be able to hide them by orienting the right way. I can't remember your pendant sorry, but I'm sure they will be fine!
Fly-loo lights - haven't heard that name before! :lol:

Sorry about the double whammy - less than perfect pendant and office move. Boohoo. But your house is looking amazing! What a difference the white set makes! House looks huge. Can't wait to see shadow line ceiling. Sounds fab

Apparently something to do with the dropped ceiling, I'll post another photo in a minute.

I don't know if you can see it properly in this photo, but there are steel beams running below the timber beams. The ceiling sheets will slide into the steel beams I'm told. Apparently the ceilings will start very soon, maybe even tomorrow! Eep!
