Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 21Aug 10, 2014 5:09 pm I did end up booking an enjo demonstration though! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 22Aug 10, 2014 5:14 pm I have just had a better look at your plan (was on my phone last night)...you have worked all those angles so well and the 34 course ceilings mmmmm love high ceilings. Cannot wait to see it all come to life Trixee Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 23Aug 10, 2014 5:25 pm Thanks Belzey! We tried to reduce as much wasted space as we could. And the higher ceilings didn't end up costing as much as we thought it would, thankfully. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 24Aug 10, 2014 5:29 pm trixee Thanks ardie! Well the home show was pretty crap. Got a few quotes but not really of anything I was actually interested in. I went last year and it was the same - lots of people lots of people spruiking property development and other unrelated gadgets Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 25Aug 10, 2014 5:33 pm Yeah I think they have 2 a year, one is supposed to be good the other isn't, I keep forgetting which one is which. I swear they used to be a lot better! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 26Aug 10, 2014 5:36 pm Opps I just checked another thread about them and the one I went to was March 2014 - sounds like they were both crap this year <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 28Aug 10, 2014 6:08 pm Yep march must have been when we went and it was no good. Let me know how the enjo goes. I'm v interested. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 29Aug 10, 2014 8:07 pm Sounds like I didnt miss much then. Although ikea was crazy Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 30Aug 10, 2014 9:52 pm Hi trix, I have everything enjo, even toliet cleaner . I guess it is very expensive .I have spent nearly $1000 on the damn thing . Does it work . I think it does .I love the kitchen stuff and the bathroom . I had a enjo party last week . And im going to one on wed . Addictive can be . But really worth it for a new home . They say products last 3years plus . I dont think I could afford it again though lol Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 31Aug 10, 2014 10:29 pm Thanks melsie, good to know. I'm mainly interested in the kitchen and bathroom, gonna get the sales rep to clean my oven for me! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 32Aug 10, 2014 10:47 pm When I had my party she clean half of things .like half of my oven to show me the difference .lol She will use a green glove and some marble paste if really dirty . Ask about marble paste . Good for oven and bath scum . Enjo nor for everyone . But if you keep at it .your products around your home will last . No chemicals to get things damaged .they seem to think enjo can clean mould just not sure about that one yet lol. Goodluck with the demo .tell me how it goes . Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 33Aug 10, 2014 10:51 pm Hmmm we've got a mould problem in our rental now. Maybe I should host a party to get that cleaned up Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 34Aug 10, 2014 10:54 pm I went to my first enjo party over 10 years ago - I love the mop for wood floors and the 'magic cloths' that have been replicated by China. I don't always use it but it is a staple in my house <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 35Aug 11, 2014 7:19 am Hi Trixee - posting to follow your build - I love your unique design - such a clever use of space and orientation. I also like dark gray floor tiles combined with timber look. Can't wait to see it all come together Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 36Aug 11, 2014 9:26 am Thanks MalSannie! I love your butlers pantry, wish we could have squeezed one in Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 37Aug 11, 2014 10:03 am You have a lovely plan - and you have a coffee corner and library - much jealousy lol Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 38Aug 14, 2014 2:20 pm OMG I'm booking the demolition in! Today! Much trepidation and internal squeeing going on. Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 40Aug 14, 2014 2:29 pm I'm dreading it, it's not that I'm particularly fond of the house, but it's just so final! 0 4982 I looked into it a few years ago and my conclusion was to just build a carport that will support panels and get a system installed separately. The company I looked at had… 1 6481 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17591 |
