Thanks Duke! Neurotic question time: what do people think about these door stops? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And door stops in general? I think these look OK but I don't think I want door stops on the floor as the robot won't be able to clean around it (first world problem, I know, I'm almost too embarrassed to bring this up at all!) Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1173Jun 04, 2015 5:12 pm I think as far as door stops go that is a beaut hehe. How about having the wall mounted variety so your robot can go beneath it? Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1174Jun 04, 2015 5:16 pm They're nice but you can't put them on the wall? Get wall mounted ones, yeah Sent from Tapatalk Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1175Jun 04, 2015 6:12 pm The wall mounted ones will likely still be a problem for the robot as you don't want to mount it too high. How about old school door stops? Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1176Jun 04, 2015 6:22 pm My door stops are vintage flat irons and it steers around them. Yes I think it would find it hard to squeeze under the wall mounted ones!! Meant to say Trixee that anticon and batts work superbly together, you won't regret having them both!! Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1177Jun 04, 2015 6:27 pm Is that just to stop the doors hitting the walls? I am going to get a magnetic door stop for our front door, that mounts on the wall (all the displays have them) Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Trixee's Passive Solar Build Perth 1178Jun 04, 2015 7:00 pm Thanks guys - yeah I think wall mounted ones might be better, can always mount them a little higher for the robot. archetto I am going to get a magnetic door stop for our front door, that mounts on the wall (all the displays have them) Archetto do you have any pics or links for this? Treeseachanger My door stops are vintage flat irons and it steers around them. Trees do you have any pics/links? Aside from that, meeting went well! Had a bit of a laugh at the apprentice putting the points in the wrong places, sparky said to ignore it and he'll mark it up properly tomorrow. There was no rushing through anything, and it took about an hour (probably would have taken less if we didn't spend half the time in chit chat! But it was fun.) Supervisor finally understood what I was going on about regarding the portico, and said it's not a problem to do, so am very thankful for that. I'm dying to post more pics of the roof but I have a hair appointment now so have to shoot off!
