My Good experience with "Goldruby Homes" (Mathew Smith)

I built my home using “Goldruby Homes” back in 2009. Here is my personal experience with Mathew Smith.

In general, building our own home is not that often we do. For most of the middle class people like me it will be once in a life time or may be twice.

Not everyone comes from a construction background where a house construction involves different tradesman skills for completion.

As an owner, we can work-out the design, we know what the basic needs in which we want to get done in our new home and we all have our own wish list.

Most importantly, at the end we need a good finish with less maintenance and without any structural issues for an average life time of 100 years and more for our home.

Completing the project of building our own home using a builder by putting everything together is always a difficult process. Especially for migrants like me it’ll be twice the hard work to build a home in a country which is new to us.

So, when it comes to finding a builder, in my belief these are the 3 important characteristics where one needs

1. Flexibility
2. Moral work ethics
3. Honesty
When it comes to signing a contract with a builder it is not practical for everyone to list each and every aspect in the contract. Most builders use the MBA template which is a standard one.

We are all human beings, we always change our mind time to time in the inclusions list and in all the additional features which we want to get done in our house while building it starting from the ground.

It was a custom designed 4 bed room house I built with “Goldruby Homes”. Mathew Smith is outstanding in those characters I mentioned above and very professional. So far I haven’t had a single issue in the finish of the house. He got good people skills and his personality to deal with customers from different background is phenomenal.
