Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 02, 2014 1:44 am I know it's been asked here earlier but wondering how much exactly one should pay for bamboo floor/m2 . As far as I understand, Bamboo quality does not vary much from brand to brand unlike timber where we have thousands of types. So I'll be thankful (many other guys would too ) if you could shed some light from your past experience. I had asked for a quote from masters, it came out to be $61/m2 (with installation, no underlay as they suggested it would be glued to the concrete). The cheapest in Perth ? The product is Vantage bamboo (1200*90*10) and comes with 3 colors. Has anyone installed this? Do you have to sand/polish after installation (the surface looks very dull and a bit rough in store). Re: Bamboo floor, Perth 2Aug 02, 2014 3:02 am Following as we are also doing bamboo, we have had quotes from 4 different places, all offer different products so its quite confusing! The one that sounded the best so far was $58/m2. I'll have to pull out the quotes to tell you where. They provide in two colors and will have a look soon. Re: Bamboo floor, Perth 7Aug 02, 2014 11:58 pm Oh so they do, they must of recently changed as it used to only be natural, might be on option for us now too as Carbonised looks like it might be what we are after. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 8284 |
