Land titled 2 weeks ago and i've heard nothing. Truth be told I hear nothing from our builder all the time. I have to email THEM to get an update. Last I heard they were expecting site survey last week We purchased this land beginning of March and only received titles a couple of weeks ago. It's really dragging... Will be lucky to get slab down before Christmas I reckon.. It sure is nice to find others building in the same area. This forum has been priceless in helping me. What Street are you on? Must be the release after ours.. Have you started your own thread? Would love to see your selections What size block have you got? It sure does feel like it's taking forever! I'm hoping once construction begins it will be rather quick so we can get out of renting! I found this site yesterday and have been on it non stop ever since! I agree - im loving how other people are in the same position as me and i am able to follow along with their jouney as well. We must be. We are release 21a - Werner street. Unfortunately we were one of the last ones to catch a block in time. So our land is teeny tiny (350sm) .. Fine for 2 people at the moment though What size is yours? and what street name? I will start my own thread this afternoon - we had our prestart very early so all colours and tiles are picked out. I will post my plan on it as well. Im loving your selections! Oh i know right! My partner and I were both renting and decided the easiest way for this to work out would be if we both moved back in with the parents.. and that we did. (boy am i counting down the days until im out of there!) Im thinking once the slab goes down .. it will shoot up right before our eyes. Its just the waiting game for the slab now. Im hoping we all have ours done before the Christmas break. Such an exciting time ! Re: First Home Build in 'Trinity' Alkimos 34Oct 31, 2014 2:20 pm Dont worry flickyrose we too have gone the crazy way and moved back with my inlaws! Eeekk its goin to be a very long hard road for us staying here! Hahaha but all for the best! Werner St... Ah yes! We were looking at a block there as it was bigger for the same price but ended up buying on Seddon Parade. We also missed out on the block we wanted there - had issues with my laptop not processing when it was released but were lucky to be offered one that the buyers didn't want. 375sqm block. It's what we could afford. We also had pre-star very early on as you can see in my thread It was a bit more kaotic with selections i must say, had our baby days before our pre-start meeting so had to push it back a little, was still crazy with a baby! Not sure it will all tie in together but it's done now! Haha Haha living with parents - i think it's great and if we had any family here we'd have done the same. Not even sure we'll have enough money to pay for everything when it's close to moving in time as payments will be higher! Eeek! I can't remember how much our builder put in the contract - dare i say around 8k? I'll have to check... If it's any more we're done for!
